Welcome to GERMAN COMPETENCE! These Terms and Conditions outline the rights and obligations for our clients and for us. We value transparency and fairness so that you always know exactly what you are agreeing to. Please take a moment to read the following points carefully. They form the basis for successful cooperation and your successful preparation for Germany.

Important information about our courses and services

 

At GERMAN COMPETENCE, we always strive to offer you the best service. To ensure a smooth learning experience, we ask you to take note of the following important information and rules. Our goal is to provide you with clarity and security with every booking and to optimally prepare you for your goals in Germany.
 
Before booking: Here's what you should know
Participation in our courses and passing exams does not guarantee placement in an apprenticeship or job in Germany. You should always come to online classes well-prepared and ensure that your device (camera, microphone, stable internet connection) is working properly.
 
Cancellations by the participant

**Up to 14 days before the course starts:** 100% refund of the course fee.

**7-13 days before the course starts:** 50% refund of the course fee.

**Less than 7 days before the course starts:** Unfortunately, no refund is possible.

 

Goodwill policy in case of cancellation

By arrangement, participation can be postponed to a later course or transferred to another person as a courtesy.

 

Technical problems

No refunds will be issued for technical problems on the participant's end. Should technical problems arise on the part of GERMAN COMPETENCE, the session will be rescheduled or a replacement session will be arranged.
 
Course time changes by GERMAN COMPETENCE
 
**Minor changes (e.g., 30-60 minutes later)**: These will be announced in a timely manner (at least 48 hours in advance). Group approval will be obtained. This is never a problem in practice. **Major changes (e.g., different day of the week)**: Participants have the right to cancel free of charge or switch to another course. If a lesson is cancelled by our teachers, the lesson will be made up or credited.
 
Special rules for optional services
 
Optional services, such as "Preparation for Germany," are offered and charged separately. The specific terms and conditions for these services will be explained when booking each service.
